Thank you for you help and your suggestion for my signature.  I'll get this all figured out eventually.

I'm working on drafting a  garage remodel.  The previous owners framed in where a garage door used to be and added windows.  I'm trying to render this in X11 premier but I'm not sure how to get rid of the stem wall where the door used to be.  Does anyone have any suggestions or video links that  I can watch?

Thank you all for your suggestions and comments.  It sounds like we'll need to create a way of naming the files so we are always working on the most current set.  Thank for you including the link about sharing libraries. 

We're a small design firm and are trying to figure out the best way to share drafting tasks.  How do you share roles in your business?  We all work from our own computers and have been transferring drawing information with flash drives.  Sometimes all the information doesn't always get included.  This also seems a bit redundant.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's now February 2018, and I'm having this problem with latest, greatest version of Chief. I've deleted the half wall, put in my wall cabinets, then added a half-wall. Deleted that and drew in a railing (I know they're the same, but, desperate times call for desperate measures!)  As soon as it goes in, my crown disappears on my cabinet.

Thank you.  In the end, I had to reset my toolbars and still don't know what happened.  I'm assuming operator error, but sure hope I don't do it again.

This has to be a simple fix, but I'm going out of my mind. I select an object and NO edit toolbar appears at the bottom of my screen.  No ability for point-to-point move, change doorswing, all those things! Will some kind soul tell me what I must have deleted or altered?
