  1. Thanks for work around but that's not how we build in the real world. We build houses that have same ceiling heights on porch and in house. Manual roofs I guess. Maybe I will go back to ver 10, bahahahahahahahahaha.
  2. What setting am I missing to get this end result in auto build? Porch roof plan 2.plan
  3. It's me. I want house roof to bear on house wall at same baseline as other roof plane. I went from ver 10 to 17 without upgrades.
  4. When porch is as wide as house, it won't auto build.
  5. I down loaded Joe Currick "hole in wall", that was corrupt file. I used it prior to recent update so it worked and once deleted all was fine.
  6. Draw a simple house and deck, Change all the dbx's and auto build.
  7. Try making a new material from library browser. CRASH for me.
  8. Make a room for it, raise floor height to elevate off floor and easy to put roof on it too. I'm sure there are many more ways.
  9. Ver 10 has it, enough said. I have it opened and looking at RIGHT NOW, all in good fun.
  10. Started with version 2 and I have designed 100's of my own and others projects. I have NEVER used that option. Houses, light commercial, pole structures, log homes, additions ect.......... I agree with Joe Carrick
  11. Ginkohouse nailed it, poly solid quickest but roofs allow more detail. Not sure we need a magic button to create it.
  12. I have ver 10 and hardware lock or hasp. I have ver 17 and a hardware lock or hasp.
  13. Been playing, I can open program from taskbar and I can right click to open specific file. I can open CA from folder in "All Programs" but I get the "Assertion Failure" when I use start menu. Joe is right.
  14. Right click from task bar good, but a couple times when opening from start menu it asked for administrative permission.
  15. No bug here, right click open from task bar and start menu works. More info means better product.
  16. Poly solid for arch top wall, break wall at height change and in wall dbx under structure tab click retain wall framing. Good luck
  17. Create a porch with railing tool, open dbx, open structure, click roof over and ceiling over buttons, set ceiling height at 12' or so and rebuild roofs.
