Hi Rene,

I bought the pro pallet, but can't get it to work.  I must have made an error when working through the instructions, or not loaded one of the catalogues that is required, but for the life of me I can't figure out where I went wrong.

Doesn't matter what I click on, this is what I get.

Dermot.  I suspect that these are caused by file storage architecture.  You may only be able to capture this by doing remote sessions with users to see their actual situation.

That was the principal cause of my installation hiccups, and over time I have found the hierarchy problems and eliminated them. Just my thoughts on the topic.

Hi Richard,

The prescribed pitch where collar ties are recognized to act as compression members is 1:3 for my jurisdiction.  Clay roofs, if the roof is symmetrical do not require ridge beams.  I certainly deal with heavy snow loads as well.  I think that you may have overstated your case, not that ridge beams don't make sense, but there are lots of cases where there are other solutions to the design requirements that do not include a ridge beam with the inherent problems of beam span and mid span supports etc.    I do agree that ridge beams may be the solution to some heavily loaded pitched roofs in some cases though.

Hey Eric,

I just saw your video on $variable in macros.  I can really use that for calculating lot statistics, amount of green space, amount of hardscape, amount of lot coverage from building footprints.
