  1. Hello All- I've searched hi and low to find the button to push on this one and have come up short. See example pic for reference. What I want to do is set up a default 1-time for certain rooms (baths, utility, mud, etc.) that when I choose that room label designation I don't have to go back in and add a room polyline or standard area polyline, choose fill type, step step step. Trying to eliminate steps. I've looked into the material region info and other areas and I just can't figure it out. I'm sure someone will answer this in about 12 seconds with a nice eye-roll and a huge sigh. I get it, but I'm done hunting this down. Thank you in advance. FLOOR MATERIAL REGION DEFAULT.pdf
  2. Ken- I would agree with your assessment in that our computer rigs need upgrading for sure. I'll start the process for all 3 computer stations I have at the office. Thanks for taking time to review and the advice.
  3. Chief group- Thank you for all your input! I'll go back through and take your advice and see where we go from there and on future projects. Thanks again, Justin
  4. Hello All- I've got this giant file size on this project and it's giving me some microsoft blue circle of death each move I make with the mouse button now (very slow to work in). I don't know what's going on with this but I can't seem to figure out how to make the file size smaller and not have the computer / program calculate a bazillion items before it allows me to make another move. In fact, in order to upload the plan and layout files I needed to compress them to get below the 14 mb limit. I couldn't even upload the layout file due to being over the 14mb limit here. Sheesh! Thank you for your help in advance. Justin Update on memory... GOT 32G from 16G. THE SUMMIT - COMPRESSED PLAN FILE.zip
  5. I have a curved wall that creates my turret style stairwell and I have a few issues that i need your help with. -first off the windows that are located in the turret stairwell below the pony wall have the brick finish misaligned when they span from floor to floor. -second when I put a roof over the stair well the brick finish will continue all the way to the roof from the foundation and cover up the windows. i did fix this with removing the roof and just creating a solid in its place. but I would like it to actually work as is should. one plan file is the house with the errors, the second file (test) is just the stairwell and is in the same position for copy and pasting back and fourth... Thanks everyone, I'm on a corporate account so i cannot add my individual equipment to the signature. -Chief X14 -I7-11700 @ 2.5GHZ -16GM RAM -RTX 2060 Thanks for your help! -George turret stairwell issues.zip
  6. Thanks everyone. Great insight and I appreciate the time to respond. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
  7. Hello All- Looking for some suggestions on what materials from the manufacturer's catalogue downloads we have access to that will mimic the picture I've added. Customer wants a smooth, tight-fit linear stone pattern and a horizontal wood-type veneer. Thank you-
  8. Hello all- Am I missing these in our catalogues or are they hidden away somewhere special? I cannot find these options anywhere. If they're not then is there a way to create one with a standard door or has someone created one of these themselves? Thanks and have a great day- Justin
  9. Roger that. Here it is without the zip. Thank you- COVAULT_3-16-20.plan
  10. Hello All- For whatever reason my cabinet schedule can add the schedule number to the floor plans but the window and door schedule does not. Hmmm..Closed the plan tried again, nothing. It's supposed to be a simple box check under the label tabs in each of the schedule dialogue boxes but hey what do I know....Any hints? COVAULT 3-16-20.zip
  11. Hello,

I am a Design Remodel firm expanding into larger projects. I need help with a commercial project which is on the smaller side but nonetheless requires drawings.
I would like to explore outsourcing the larger projects such as this. Let me know when we can discuss your project scope and pricing. I can be reached at 440.221.9500.

    Thank you,

    Bob Gallese

      Bob-

Sorry for the delay in response. I don't typically review this area of my profile often.

I don't focus on small commercial work but I do know of a very talented chief user that lives in the same town as I do that does focus on small commercial work. Her chief profile name is "serenity", Jacquilla S. Gillette

      Take care-
